Please attend the annual membership meeting at 2:00 pm. Topics of discussion will include our junior shooting sports programs and other shooting sports programs around North Dakota and the USA. The Eagles Club is located at 345 12th AVE NE, Valley City, ND.

Rooms: GrandStay Hotel and Suites at 271 Winter Show Rd SW in Valley City, ND has a small block of rooms available for NDSSA Banquet attendants. The block reservation is good thru December 25th. The rate is $159.99+ tax for a 2 queen bed room. They do offer free breakfast, indoor pool, fitness center and they are pet friendly. Guest Speaker

Brian Gosch

NRA/ILA State Director for North and South Dakota, and Montana Brian was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He attended high school at Martin Luther Prep School in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1993 and then attended the University of South Dakota School of Law, graduating in 1996. He became an attorney for South Dakota Advocacy Services for people with disabilities in Rapid City, South Dakota. He was appointed to the South Dakota House by Governor Mike Rounds in 2007, succeeding Alan Hanks, who resigned his seat after winning the mayoralty of Rapid City. In 2013, Brian was elected Speaker of the House of Representatives for the 87th Legislative Assembly, a post he held until 2015.

As of 2021, Brain serves as a State Director for the National Rifle Association/ILA for North and South Dakota, and Montana.

Hall of Fame Inductee

Coby Dalgliesh

We will be inducting Coby Dalgliesh into the North Dakota Shooting Sports Hall of Fame and hope you can join us. Coby’s been a pretty dedicated individual to the Shooting Sports since he showed up at his first match in Rolla in September, 1995. We will recognize Coby’s efforts and commitment to improve the shooting sports from his home of Sarles, ND.

· Earned CMP Distinguished Rifleman badge #1686 in 2004,

· Holds several High Master classifications,

· Helped with several range improvements at the ranges in Rolla, Grand Forks, and Bismarck,

· Instrumental in getting the Turtle Mountain Rifle and Pistol Club involved in the Project Appleseed,

· Hosts several high power XTC and midrange prone matches at the David Disrud Memorial Range in Rolla.

If you have shot a rifle match in North Dakota you have undoubtedly met Coby. The North Dakota lumberjack is pretty unforgettable with jokes and the infamous “You gonna eat that?”.
