35th ANNUAL BIS-MAN REGIONAL PISTOL CHAMPIONSHIP DATE: June 17, 2018 SPONSORED BY: Bismarck-Mandan Rifle and Pistol Association LOCATION: Fried Family Shooting Complex. 3 ¾ miles west of Moffit, ND on Moffit Road to 262 then south 1 ½ miles. Note-when driving south on 262, remember to observe the 40 mph speed limit by farm house. RULES: Current NRA Pistol rules will govern ELIGIBILITY: Open to any competitor. Teams will consist of 4 members (Rules 2.10, 2.11, 2.12, 2.13, 2.14). No pickup teams allowed. Tournament officials may not compete. ENTRIES: Individual entries should be made by contacting: Kevin C. Time and Rapid fire will be at 25 yds with turning targets on B-8 targets. ENTRY FEES: Sponsor registration fee $3.00 per shooter NRA registration fee 8.00 per shooter Individual matches (12) 2.00 per fired match Team matches (3) 8.00 per match per team Post entries No additional charge Package individual entry $35.00 (does not include team matches or leg match) SQUADDING: Registration and squading will be done before the matches are fired. CLASSIFICATION: Current NRA classification will be used. All unclassified shooters will fire in the Master Class (Rule 19.6). CLASSES: Classes will not be combined. There must be a minimum of six (6) competitors in a class for 2nd place, thirteen (12) for 3rd place. No awards will be provided below 3rd place. After the match all scores posted on the score cards are entered into a computer and added up again to produce the final match results. All shooters are expected to bring staple guns and staples. Competitors will score and repair targets. Use of plug scoring device is restricted to the range officer.

Description

The outdoor range features a 1,000 yard High Power rifle range with 34 firing points, rifle and handgun silhouette ranges, cowboy action area, an 18 point bullseye pistol range, 11 concrete benchrests with target backboards at 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards, indoor storage, picnic shelter, outdoor restroom and a clubhouse/classroom facility.

Construction was made possible through grants from various groups that support shooting sports in our area and the hard work of our volunteer club laborers. We express our sincere thanks to these groups and invite them to visit the range and see what they have helped to build.
