RULES: Current NRA Smallbore Rules will apply.
OPEN TO: Any individual. North Dakota residents must be members of the North Dakota Shooting Sports Association (NDSSA). Teams must represent clubs affiliated with the NDSSA.
ENTRIES: Individual entries can be made by sending a note indicating the matches you wish to enter with a check, money order, or NRA award points made out to the Forks Rifle Club for the full amount of the entry desired to the above address. An entry card will filled out at the range indicating your NRA membership number and current NRA smallbore classification. Post entries will be accepted up to entry limits.
ENTRIES LIMITED: Entries are limited to 28 individuals.

TEAM, Each Phase (Included in the Package)
TARGET DETAIL: Competitors will hang and retrieve targets, and scoring will be done by match officials in Phases I & III. Competitors will operate and score targets in Phase II. The use of target scoring gauges will be limited to the official scorer.
CLASSIFICATION: The NRA Classification System will be used for Phases I&III for all Individual Matches. Individuals who have not been classified will fire in the Master Class, Assigned, or Temporary Classification (NRA rules 19.6 or 19.14) may be used. Classes will be combined with the higher class if less that 5 enter in a class. If less that 5 "Masters" enter, they will not be combined and will shoot for the "Match Winner" awards only. Phase II (long range) will not be classified.
RIFLE: Any NRA Smallbore Rifle (rule 3.2). Juniors will be limited to the use of Metallic Sights (rule3.7a).
MATCH SCHEDULE
PHASE I, POSITION: Commencing at 8:00 a.m. CDT on Saturday, June 4, 2016
Match 11: Unlimited Sighters and 20 shots for record Prone, 50 yards (A-23/5 target) with any sights,
20 minutes total time limit.
Match 12: Unlimited Sighters and 20 shots for record Standing, 50 yards (A23/5 target) with any sights,
30 minutes total time limit.
Match 13: Unlimited Sighters and 20 shots for record Sitting, 50 yards (A23/5 target) with any sights,
20 minutes total time limit.
Match 14: Unlimited Sighters and 20 shots for record Kneeling, 50 yards (A23/5 target) with any sights,
20 minutes total time limit.
Match 15: 10 shots for record Prone, 10 minutes time limit; 10 shots for record Standing, 15 minutes time limit; 10 shots for record Sitting, 10 minutes time limit; and 10 shots for record Kneeling, 10 minutes time limit; at 50 yards (A23/5 target). Unlimited sighters may be taken within the time limits.
Match 16: THE STATE POSITION CHAMPIONSHIP - an aggregate of matches 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Match 17: TWO MAN TEAM - Scores from match 5.
PHASE II, LONG RANGE PRONE: Commencing the Completition of Match 15 or about at

Match 20: Unlimited sighting shots and 20 shots for record, 200 yards prone with any sights, on the High Power Rifle "SR" Target. 30 minutes total time including sighters. Competitors will operate and score targets from the target pit using the High Power Rifle Scoring System. Once the competitor indicates that he or she is shooting for record, then no additional sighters are allowed.
PHASE III, PRONE: Commencing at 8:00 a.m. CDT on Sunday, June 5, 2015
Match 31: Unlimited sighters and 40 shots for record at 50 yards (A23/5 target), with metallic sights. Fired in two 20 shot strings, 20 minutes total time for each string.
Match 32: Dewar Course: Unlimited Sighters and 20 shots for record at 50 yards (A23/5 target); and Unlimited sighters and 20 shots for record at 100 yards (A25 target). Both stages with Metallic sights. 20 minutes total time limit, for each stage.
Match 33: Unlimited Sighters and 40 shots at 100 yards (A25 target), with any sights. Fired in two 20 shots strings, 20 minutes total time limit for each string.
Match 34: Unlimited Sighters and 40 shots at 50 meters (A26/5 target), with any sights. Fired in two 20 shots strings, 20 minutes total time each string including sighters.
Match 35: STATE SMALLBORE PRONE CHAMPIONSHIP - An aggregate of Matches 31, 32, 33, and 34
Match 36: TWO MAN TEAM -Scores from Match 35.
AWARDS
STATE TROPHIES: The high North Dakota resident in Match 16 , the Outdoor Position Championship, will receive the State Outdoor Position Trophy and the high resident Junior in Match 16 will receive the Outdoor Junior Position Trophy.
The high North Dakota resident in Match 20, the State 22 Caliber Long Range Championship will receive the 200 Yard Smallbore Championship Trophy.
The high North Dakota resident in Match 35, the State Outdoor Prone Championship, will receive the Thurlow and Sons Trophy and the high resident Junior will receive the Dick Thurlow Trophy.
Replica plaques will be provided by NDSSA. If a non-resident a winner, an additional Replica will be provided
Special awards of NRA Award Points to the high scoring woman, senior (age 60+), and Grand Senior (age 70+) in Matches 16, 20, and 35, if three or more enter
Match winners in the fired match: NRA Award Points
Class awards in all individual matches in each class of Phase I & III will receive NRA award points if Five or more are entered in a class. If less than five enter in a class, the class will be combined with the next higher class. If there are less than five Masters, they will compete for "Match Winner" awards only.
Phase II will not be divided in to classes. Award points will be awarded for 2nd, 3rd, etc. only if enough enter.
