1. NRA Level 1 Rifle Coach Certification. Course by Bob Foth, Olympic medalist and
USA Paralympic Team Coach for London and Rio Olympics, to be held on 22 and 23
2. NRA Level 1 Pistol Coach Certification. Course by Eric Pueppke, NRA pistol trainer and coach of successful NDSU shooting team, to be held on 22 and 23 October 2020.
3. Bob Foth Pairs precision air rifle clinic (Coach and junior shooter) to be held on 24 and 25 October 2020
NRA materials for coaches certification are at participants expense. $100. To be paid with registration.
Rifle and pistol will run at same time, so, you can only get one certification during this training.
Midday meals will be served. Free will donation to MRPC Juniors..
To accomplish this level of instruction, the cost will be $100 per day per participant. We will do what we can to lower this cost (through donations, scholarships, etc.) and recommend you do the same.
TOTAL cost for Rifle Certification= $200 for class + $100 for NRA materials=$300.
TOTAL cost for Pistol Certification=$200 for class + $100 for NRA materials=$300.
TOTAL cost for Pairs Clinic=$400 per pair
We will attempt to get a reduced rate at a local motel for out of town participants.
Certification Clinics will be limited to 30 participants TOTAL for both clinics. Pairs Clinic will be
limited to 12 coaches and 12 junior shooters. Participation slots will be offered to regional
participants until 1 March 2020, after which open slots will be posted on NRA training sites.
The Minot Rifle and Pistol Club's indoor range facilities are located west of Minot on US 2/52.
From Minot, proceed west on US 2/52. Go 1.3 miles west of Behm's Truck Stop/Country Kitchen Restaurant and turn left (CR-17). Follow the road (CR-17) under the trestle bridge and bear left at the intersection (62nd St. SW). The indoor range is on the right hand side at the top of the hill (about 1/2 mile). It is a grey steel building with green trim.
If you're approaching from the west, the turn off is about 9 miles east of the junction of US 2 and 52. Turn right towards the trestle bridge and follow the instructions above.
