ELIGIBILITY/RULES: This competition is open to anyone and current NRA Light Rifle Rules will govern.
ENTRY FEE: $20.00 per competitor, $10.00 Juniors (This includes NRA match fee and range fee) There will be a $5 per shot scoring challenge fee, refunded if successful.
ENTRIES: Entries should be made at least 7 days preceding the firing date. Late entries may be accepted to the range capacity. Checks should be made out to Minot Rifle & Pistol Club. .
SQUADDING: Will be assigned by the Statistical Office on a first come basis. Please state preferred time of firing.
FIRING TIMES: SATURDAY – January 26th SUNDAY- January 277th
Relay 1- 8:30 am Additional relays added if needed.
Relay 2 – 10:30am 12 Shooter per Relay
RIFLE SIGHTS: Any .22 caliber rimfire rifle. Trigger pull cannot be less than 2 pounds. The rifle must not weigh more than 8.5 pounds with sights and accessories. Hook butt plates, palm rests, slings, shooting gloves, or jackets may not be used. Scopes are allowed - no restrictions on magnification.
AMMUNITION:. 22 short, long, or long rifle – standard ammunition only.
CLASSIFICATION: The NRA classification system will be used. Unclassified competitors will fire in the Master class.
POSITION: Standing only. Erect on both feet, no other portion of the body touching the ground or any supporting surface. The elbow or upper arm of the forward arm may be placed against the body or rest on the hip.
TARGETS: Official NRA A-32. Targets may be hung at any height within our range limitations.
DISTANCE: Distance is 50 feet.
COURSE OF FIRE: The course of fire for the Light Rifle match is 4 shots at each of the
5 record bulls on the A32 target. Five targets for a total of 100 record shots.
SIGHTING SHOTS: Unlimited sighting shots are permitted, but all shots fired, sighters and record shots must be fired within the time allowed for record firing.
TIME LIMITS: Firing is one minute per record shot.
AWARDS: All awards will be provided by the match sponsor. Appropriate awards will be given to juniors. At a minimum, 1 award will be given for each 3 competitors in a class.

Description
The Minot Rifle and Pistol Club's indoor range facilities are located west of Minot on US 2/52.
From Minot, proceed west on US 2/52. Go 1.3 miles west of Behm's Truck Stop/Country Kitchen Restaurant and turn left (CR-17). Follow the road (CR-17) under the trestle bridge and bear left at the intersection (62nd St. SW). The indoor range is on the right hand side at the top of the hill (about 1/2 mile). It is a grey steel building with green trim.
If you're approaching from the west, the turn off is about 9 miles east of the junction of US 2 and 52. Turn right towards the trestle bridge and follow the instructions above.
